We are currently seeking a dedicated People + Culture Coordinator who will be instrumental in providing exceptional support and coordination for our daily people operations. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing critical processes such as recruitment, facilitating seamless onboarding experiences, and ensuring accurate maintenance of employee records. As a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, you will play a vital role in handling sensitive matters while actively contributing to the implementation of our strategic people initiatives.

**Key accountabilities include**:
**Recruitment**:

- Facilitate and conduct background check processes in accordance to organizational standards.
- Coordinate and attend events as required.

**Onboarding**:

- Coordinate the onboarding process ensuring a great new hire experience.
- Conduct first-day orientation with new hires.
- Assemble new hire packages, maintain, and prepare onboarding materials.
- Ensure all newly hired employees are correctly processed according to our SOP’s.

**People Operations and Program Support**:

- Be a supportive partner to employees and managers enabling them to deliver their best work daily.
- Act as an administrator for the People + Culture team ensuring processes are aligned and properly actioned.
- Maintain employee data and records.
- Complete routine tracking and reporting of various people analytics and program activity.
- Prepare and distribute various forms, reports, policies, procedures, and employee communication.
- Assist with updating company policies and documents.
- Provide support to company initiatives and other team members as required.

**Job requirements**:
Knowledge and previous experience in the following areas are key to this position:

- Previous HR experience with specific experience managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in HR or related field.
- Knowledge of employment standards and labour law.
- Exceptional writing, attention to detail and communications skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
- Resourceful in having the ability to find the answer on their own and learn new things quickly.
- Demonstrated success handling daily requests/changes and the ability to pivot.
- Enthusiastic, customer and solutions-oriented, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
