We have an exciting opportunity for a **Regional Coordinator** **to join our growing team

**Location**:London, ON. Frequent visits to Homes within the defined geographical region will be required.
**Schedule**: 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
**Status**: Permanent, Full-time

**_We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory._**

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Works alongside the Director, Operations to successfully implement Physiotherapy and or Occupational Therapy service in assigned Homes
- Maintains consistent staffing of Homes and works with Recruitment staff to provide adequate coverages for vacations and planned/unplanned absences
- Monitors the hours worked by to ensure they meet, but do not exceed, the contracted hours by home and works with staff and Homes to schedule any makeup hours due to outbreaks, illness, etc.
- Follows all Seniors Wellness policies and procedures and conducts spot checks when visiting Homes to ensure all staff are following the policies and procedures
- Participates in Weekly Regional Manager Meetings (teleconferences) and other quarterly Physiotherapy Meetings by webinar and teleconference as organized
- Ensures training and orientation for all new staff is completed and documented
- Completes annual performance reviews of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapy Assistants
- Provides assistance in recruiting new staff
- Provides education as requested by Homes
- Helps to implement new programs as initiated by Seniors Wellness

- The ability to be flexible and dynamic in your approach—we are looking for someone who has experience flexing their responsibilities to ensure all required tasks are being met in an order that makes sense and serves treatment/client related needs.
- Strong research, analysis and decision making processes that contribute to your ability to be an excellent problem solver.
- A pronounced ability to manage multiple competing priorities and maintain focus and quality of workmanship in a dynamic people focused workspace.

**Qualification**
- Graduate of Bachelor of Kinesiology program or similar healthcare background
- Experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Experience in Gerontology/Continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrate strong leadership, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to travel as required and in possession of a valid driver’s license
