**Role**:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be providing support to the Executive Director, North and South Directors and Managers of Edmonton Court of King’s Bench Operations.

In this role, your responsibilities include but not limited to are:

- Attend monthly supervisor’s meetings, maintain a comprehensive, accurate written summation of agenda items.
- Arranges and schedules meeting, maintains a comprehensive, accurate written summation of agenda items.
- Responsible to work independently in completing assigned projects within tight timelines.
- Respond to staff inquiries and provide assistance and guidance regarding benefits, regulations, administrative policies and procedures.
- Provides administrative assistance to the expenditure officers by ensuring that all invoices to be approved for payment are properly coded and checked for accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of a monthly variance report for Edmonton Court of King’s Bench. Review expenditure reports and investigate and report any expenditure entries that appear unusual and take corrective action.
- Gathers and prepares statistical reports for the Executive Director, North & South Directors, Edmonton KB Managers and Administrators.
- Ensures a “bring forward” system is in place and identifies requests that must be acted upon within required timelines.
- Ensures health & safety guidelines are followed and maintains quality control.
- In-depth knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
- Governmental policies and procedures in relation to employee benefits.
- Knowledge of King’s Bench Operations, internal policies, and its structure
- Knowledge of information from the Public Service Commission website.
- Budget, purchasing guidelines, budget code allocation, procurement card guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of 1GX
- Strong knowledge of Master Agreement.
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills to deal with the complex and heavy workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:
A High School Diploma and three years of directly related experience is required.
- Frontline experience working with people would be considered an asset.

**Equivalencies will be considered on the basis of**:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience.
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

**Salary**:
$1,884.99 to $ 2,307.87 bi-weekly. ($49,198 - $60,235 / Annually)

**Notes**:
The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 8:15AM-4:30PM, 36.25 hours a week.
- This is one fulltime Temporary position for approximately 1(one) year
