**Ways You Contribute**
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and provide assistance.
- Own offboarding processes and applicable notices and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve employee technical and/or PTO issues in the HRIS system (UltiPro/UKG)
- Own the Work Anniversary Program by tracking, communicating, and purchasing gifts.
- Lead the Health & Safety Committee to ensure safety objectives and compliance is achieved
- Run HR reports for Finance and payroll as requested
- Maintain and update the HR SharePoint site
- Update documents and communication platforms to support transparent company communication.
- Support the benefits and payroll administration process by maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS system
- Update employee benefits changes and respond to employee benefit questions.
- Act as primary payroll backup.
- Update & launch employee surveys and compile preliminary data.
- Initiate employment compliance reporting by completing the applicable sections of the Employment Equity Report and submit to HR manager for review prior to submission date
- Maintain and update the HR SharePoint site.
- Work with the team to coordinate culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies.
- Serve as a member of the Social Committee organizing events and fundraising initiatives.
- Be willing to help within other areas of HR & Culture.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

**Primary Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Experience with technical and non-technical recruiting best practices.
- You are comfortable learning new technology.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and agile workplace environment
- Highly adaptable and able to quickly pivot to changes in process
- You have great attention to detail and high accuracy with data entry.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have strong ethics in relation to business practices, privacy, and confidentiality.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- CHRP designation or are working towards it.

**Skills considered an asset**:

- Experience with UltiPro/UKG or a similar HRMS.
- Familiarity with the Canada Labour Code for federally-regulated employers.
