**ABOUT THE POSITION**

The HR Co-op at Summit Water will play a vital role in supporting various human resources functions and gaining practical experience in a dynamic corporate environment. This co-op role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1) Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

2) Employee Relations:

- Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
- Participate in the resolution of employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality.

3) Training and Development:

- Assist in organizing and coordinating training programs, workshops, and other learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources.

4) HR Administration:

- Support HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, updating databases, and generating reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources Program.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
