- Enrol employees in our benefit plan and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
- Record and track employee attendance.
- Inspect payroll entries to ensure accurate and timely processing of employees pay.
- Research, organize and schedule training, track and record employee progress, and maintain training records. Coordinate and administer training such as AODA, WHMIS, Workplace Violence and Harassment and Respect in the Workplace training.
- Assist the HR Manager to ensure workplace safety compliance.
- Support and assist with our Early and Safe Return to Work Program.
- Assist and coordination of events.
- Track and analyze HR metrics.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Support HR projects and initiatives.
- Other duties to support the smooth operation of the HR Department.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a Human Resources Professional within a Manufacturing Setting, ideally within a unionized environment.
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management.
- Knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Health and Safety Legislation.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills; this position requires discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner.
