**Finance and Administration Manager**

- $60,000 - $80,000 annual salary.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Full-time, salaried position. Standard business hours (9 am - 5 pm).
- Vancouver location.
- Hybrid, with an open invitation to join us at the office three days a week (or more).
- Start date: ASAP.
**And here’s what we need from the person who fills this role**:
**Financial Management**:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial health.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage payroll and benefits, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Liaise with external accountants with respect to sales tax and income tax related matters.
**Administration**:
- Lead and manage the HR and administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage our third party IT provider, coordinating equipment and liaising to ensure our server/cloud/tech programs and services are up to date, secure, and functioning.
- Oversee facilities management, including office space, equipment, and supplies.
- Implement and enhance HR and administrative processes to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
**Risk Management and Compliance**:
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
**Team Leadership**:
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the management team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and nurture talent, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.

**Here’s what you bring to the table**:
**Must-haves**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial management, with at least two (2) years in a managerial role.
- Proven success in implementing financial strategies that contribute to organizational success.
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of financial software and ERP systems.
- Successful track record in managing audits and ensuring compliance.
**Nice-to-haves**
- 1-2 years HR and/or administration management experience
- Comfortable working with executives at all levels of the organization
- Resourceful and self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adjust styles to respond appropriately to different circumstances.
- Ability to project manage by obtaining appropriate resources to accomplish projects in an efficient manner.
