A Yorkville Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Medical Practice is expanding its patient-centered team.
The busy and dynamic Medical Practice are in search of a highly professional, dependable, and trustworthy **full-time Administrative Medical Secretary.**
Specialising in surgical and dermatological aesthetic procedures, pre-operative and post-operative care, medical esthetics, and a multitude of other cutting-edge medical facial and body treatments - the team are recruiting for an **experienced full-time Administrative Medical Secretary **that will provide support to a busy and dynamic clinical practice while delivering a great patient experience.
**Essential Requirements to apply**:
- Successful completion of a diploma/certificate from an accredited educational institution
- Minimum of five **(5) years related experience - working as a front desk receptionist or customer-facing service role.**:
- Demonstrated experience in providing the highest standard of patient quality care
- Ability to interact with Clients with discretion, professionalism, and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication, including phone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and an excellent attendance record
**Summary of Duties, but not limited to**:
The Clinic operates on a patient first mentality and require every patient interaction to be meaningful, friendly and timely.
- Welcoming and greeting clients, guiding clients throughout their visit and checking clients in and out of their appointments
- Managing the booking of Medical & Cosmetic procedures whilst providing friendly and efficient service to our clients
- Processing payments for appointments and product
- Interacting with Clients with discretion, professionalism, and accuracy
- Driving additional revenue by actively offering assistant with retail products, promotional offers and encouraging repeat bookings
- Making reminder appointment calls to clients
- Constantly maintaining the lounge and other client areas
- Managing wait times with clients, updating them with accurate information regarding their appointment.
- Open and close procedures including next day preparation
- Responding to all client issues and inquiries
- Foster client/clinic loyalty by creating memorable experience
- Problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Inputing patient information in Electronic Medical Record system
- Scanning and faxing
- Help patient consultant in calling for medical records for surgical patients
**Schedule of hours - Full-time Administrative Medical Secretary**:
- As Clinic hours of operation are from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday-Friday
- Shifts are scheduled for 8 ½ hours and may vary based on our client and operational flow
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
