Administrative Assistant

**Office Management**:
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents.
- Manage office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries.
**Scheduling and Reservations**:
- Coordinate and schedule reservations for customers.
- Manage the restaurant's reservation system.
- Communicate with customers regarding reservation details.
**Communication**:
- Assist in communication between different departments within the restaurant.
- Handle customer feedback and pass relevant information to the management.
**Event Coordination**:
- Assist in planning and coordinating special events or private parties.
- Communicate with customers to understand their event requirements.
**Record Keeping**:
- Maintain records of inventory, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee attendance tracking.
**Assistance to Management**:
- Provide administrative support to the restaurant manager and other senior staff.
- Help with the preparation of reports and presentations.
**Training and Onboarding**:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate training sessions and ensure that employees have necessary materials.
**Customer Service**:
- Greet customers and assist with any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure they are addressed promptly.
**Collaboration with Other Departments**:
- Work closely with the kitchen staff, waitstaff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities.
**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Woodbridge, ON L4L 4V9 (preferred)
