We are currently seeking a to join our growing team at Herbaland Headquarter, located in Richmond, BC.
Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, maintaining employee information accurately in HRIS, managing extended benefits plan, issuing ROE, Talent management, employee benefits, training and development, create a positive working environment, nurture a diverse and inclusive company cultural and participate in Health and Safety meetings as a member of the JOSHC. This role is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day HR operations.
Job Duties:
- Full-cycle recruiting (from job posting to hiring, including onboarding new employees).
- Improve and maintain HRIS (BambooHR).
- New employee orientation.
- Solving employee conflicts, managing employee relations and disciplinary policy.
- Implement and improve HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Manage employee benefits and extended health benefits.
- Organizing company events with the Admin team.
- Improve employee relations and company culture.
- Conducts site visits to support front line staff and managers as required
- Performance Management
- Investigations
- Progressive Corrective Discipline
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 year experience in HR department
- Post-secondary degree in HR.
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong communication, public speaking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and Bamboo HR. Minimum 50wpm typing speed,
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
Work Conditions:
- Travel may be required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Overtime may be required.
