We are seeking a **Career Services Coordinator **who is passionate about working in the field of education who will guide and coach our students throughout their co-op experience. TSoM has partnered with many different companies from a range of industries to make sure that students get the most benefit from their course. These partnerships mean that students can join a real workplace and gain valuable experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing effective methods of communicating co-op requirements to students, scheduling student appointments, to have a contact with every unplaced graduate
- Maintaining a current database of students and their co-op placements
- Gathering and maintaining student documentation related to co-op, ensuring that required reports are completed accurately and timely
- Ensuring that the student is prepared for co-op term by assisting with helping the students in resume writing, interview techniques, phone skills, networking, and other job search processes as such preparing and delivering career counselling workshops, meeting individually with students for resume/cover letter critiques, interview preparation, and co-op preparation sessions
- Maintaining informational, job boards for students
- Assisting in co-op completion follow-up surveys and other correspondence to graduates and employers
- Generating statistical data to ensure the success of placement efforts, and to meet other college requirements
- Performing other duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field.
- 2-3 years in Career Services, Sales, Business Development, or HR from the staffing industry or higher education. Demonstrated skills in understanding career foundations and job placement.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work tasks or projects.
- Ability to make public presentations in small or large group settings.
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
- Ability to work with an ethnically and culturally diverse population.
- Cooperate and collaborate as a member of a team
