The Federal Science Library Network is a collaborative led by the National Research Council of Canada. Working as part of the Library and Information Management Services team, the Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support related to the delivery of the Federal Science Libraries Network’s programs and services.

The incumbent of this position’s main responsibilities are to:

- Plan, coordinate and organize the administrative operations for the network to ensure they are efficient and effective.
- Support and provide full secretariat services to governance committees and working groups.
- Respond to and triage requests from partners, stakeholders, and the public.
- Provide administrative support for network managed collaboration tools, platforms and systems.

You will also participate in a range of projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and services for the network operations team and its partners and collaborators.

**Screening Criteria**:
**Education**:
Post secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to the position from a recognized university or college.

Library and Information Technician diploma would be considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of three (2) years providing administrative or operational support services.
- Experience in governance coordination including managing agendas, scheduling meetings, taking minutes and preparing material.
- Experience working collaboratively to deliver services within and across organizations.
- Experience using a financial management system to initiate purchases, process invoices, and track expenditures would be an asset.
- Recent experience is defined as the experience acquired in the past five years.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and staff within and outside the organization to address and coordinate operational issues.
- Ability to analyze information, identify gaps and issues and gather information to provide recommendations and solutions.

From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year
