The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited has a part time opportunity for a bilingual Human Resources Administrator. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrator will support the Human Resource team in various areas of HR including but not limited to policy development, pension and benefits administration, training and development and personnel file maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the human resource team in a professional manner while adhering to strict confidentiality requirements
- Supports the development of policy, procedure and training materials in alignment with applicable employment-related legislation
- Supports recruitment needs
- Supports the maintenance of electronic HR filing systems and personnel records
- Responds to HR inquiries from department managers, employees referring to appropriate individuals when needed
- Takes independent action to triage requests and determine the course of action
- Benefit and pension administration
- Works in a team environment, develops a supportive and productive working relationship with other staff
- Performs general administrative duties
- Coordinates HR projects/activities (events, meetings, training, surveys etc.)

Essential Qualifications
- Knowledge of Human Resources or Law normally acquired through post-secondary education
- Prior experience in an office setting as an administrator, in a legal environment or working within human resources is an asset
- Pursuing Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset
- Sound knowledge and broad understanding of employment laws and legislations, of Human Resources challenges and trends
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle personal and sensitive information
- Interpersonal skills to deal with people at various levels internal and external to the organization in a tactful, respectful and professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytic skills with the ability to work within tight time lines
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work within a team and with mínimal supervision
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required

The Bilingual HR Administrator will work from the head office in Ottawa, ON, or the Bluewater Bridge office in Point Edward, ON.

Tâches et responsabilités
- Appuyer l’équipe des ressources humaines de manière professionnelle tout en respectant des exigences strictes en matière de confidentialité.
- Contribuer à l’élaboration de politiques, de procédures et de matériel de formation conformes à la législation applicable en matière d’emploi.
- Contribuer à la maintenance des systèmes de dossiers électroniques des RH et des dossiers des employés.
- Répondre aux demandes de renseignements sur les RH provenant des gestionnaires et des employés et les transmettre aux personnes concernées, s’il y a lieu.
- Trier les demandes et déterminer la marche à suivre de façon proactive.
- S’occuper de l’administration des régimes de retraite et d’avantages sociaux.
- Travailler en équipe et établir des relations de travail propices à l’entraide et à la productivité.
- Effectuer des tâches administratives générales.
- Coordonner les projets et les activités relatives aux ressources humaines (événements, réunions, formations, sondages, etc.).

Compétences essentielles
- Connaissances en ressources humaines ou en droit acquises dans le cadre d’études postsecondaires.
- Expérience en tant qu’agent ou agente au sein d’un service juridique ou de ressources humaines, un atout.
- Des études en cours pour obtenir le titre de conseiller en ressources humaines agréé (CRHA), un atout.
- Connaissance et compréhension approfondies des lois du travail et de la réglementation ainsi que des défis et des tendances en matière de ressources humaines.
