**Working Arrangement**

The Accounting Administrator is an individual contributor primarily responsible for the accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation of unreconciled balance sheet items identified by Accounting Operations team to ensure client financials are aligned with the general ledger. The role involves working closely with Accounting Operations Financial Analyst to clear aged items and develop preventive measures from future errors. This role also provides support to Operations business unit and serves as the primary contact of the Accounting Operations team. Also helping to move work within AWD to ensure we are meeting TAT.
**Key Individual Accountabilities**
- Review outstanding balance sheet items using the SMART tool, investigate and take appropriate action to correct the outstanding item prior to the next billing run or calendar month end. Update commentary on SMART to outline issue, resolution and date of correction to meet audit and sign off requirements by AO
- Ensure all items over the account clearing standard have been investigated and cleared within the quarter and maintain a 2% or less over standard item count.
- Analyze outstanding items to determine if process changes are required within SFS to prevent future errors and implement process changes.
- Such other duties and functions as assigned by Operations Management
**Qualifications**
- Must be well organized and detailed in approach, with good follow-through
- Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various levels within the department and the Accounting Operations team.
- Ability to recognize obstacles to timely allocations to eliminate aged balance sheet items
- Ability to determine risk and communicate to appropriate levels the probability of financial impact.
- Professionalism always in communication to all impacted parties
- Process knowledge of ManuConnect; SBA, ASO and Gipsy systems and outcomes of the process.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the general ledger deadlines, quarter end requirements and ensure deposit allocation issues are addressed prior to billing cycle
