Headquartered in Etobicoke, ON, Starline Production Rentals Inc. was founded in 2000 and has grown steadily through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth. Our resources include a fleet of over 850 specialized trucks and trailers to service the dynamic film and television industry. Supplying custom built vehicles to accommodate actors, hair and make-up, cameras, rigging, wardrobe and more require ongoing repair and maintenance.
We are currently seeking a **Vice President of Sales **who will be responsible for leading the Sales team into our next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the President, this position will make a huge impact on the future of our company. As the VP Sales, you will lead the strategic direction and management of our sales to maintain current relationships and develop new client bases. You will work collaboratively with our internal operations to ensure the full execution of our products and services. To be successful in this position you must have a proven understanding of our business and have the insight to identify and map development opportunities. At the core of your abilities is a well-honed set of leadership skills to drive your team to succeed. This position will require hands on leadership and adaptability to work alongside our leadership team.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Meet with existing clients to discuss the Company’s and/or its Subsidiaries’ products and services
- Map strategy by leading, setting and growing sales
- Develop and scale your team by designing your current and future team, developing departmental strategy, hiring, training and retaining top quality sales team members
- Provide motivational yet critical feedback to the sales team in the areas of sales/personal development, objection handling, operational efficiency, client resolution management, new process or line of business integration
- Conduct and deliver accurate sales forecasting and activity results regularly to the Leadership Team
- Supply Leadership Team with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Collaborate and resolve challenges with other internal departments and functions to ensure maximum sales effectiveness and coordination on processes
- Working to foster lasting relationships with client base
- Locate opportunities to expand existing client base
- Network with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to the Company and/or its Subsidiaries in Ontario
- Set specific quarterly or annual sales goals and work to ensure sales and productivity goals are met
- Present information regarding clients and sales at meetings of the Company and/or any of the Subsidiaries
- Devise new and innovative ways to market products and services
- Assist in designing marketing and promotional materials both in print and online
- Conduct independent research into target consumer base or have such research conducted by a third party that specializes in such research as approved by the Company
- Build strong customer relationships through regular and proactive communication utilizing technology and other available collaborative tools
- Conduct strategic conversations around client portfolios, profitability, triggers, business growth and development
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from clients and vendors
- Oversee the administrative functions providing for pricing, contract development and execution
- Adhere to all compliance standards for sales and service

**Experience & Qualifications**
- 8 to 10 years in a senior sales position
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance an asset
- Industry knowledge, contacts and experience
- Proven ability to drive sales with results
- Demonstrative history of successful leaderships, coaching, mentorship
- Well development project management and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Ability to identify problems, assess impacts, and develop solutions

- This position operates primarily in an office setting with little to no exposure to disagreeable conditions or extreme weather
