**The Role**:
The Learning and Development Specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to assess, develop, and arrange suitable training solutions for staff and leadership. This position will implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance in a digital, global environment.

**The Impact**:
The Learning and Development Specialist will support employee career potential and growth, as well as ensure organizational HR compliance. This role will be fundamental to ensuring organizational values and culture are deployed through the employee's learning journey.

**Responsibilities**:

- Foster relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand, recommend, and deploy learning and development solutions, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning programs, self-study materials, and training videos
- Design, develop and deliver digital programs that build employee and organizational effectiveness, including those related to employee engagement, performance development, compliance, and leadership development
- Create and implement project plans for new or existing programs that builds a Culture of Learning
- Develop and execute continuous improvement of the L&D strategy that align with business requirements
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of the learning management system (LMS) and assist with troubleshooting and integrations between LMS and other systems
- Maintain performance evaluation methods for training content, delivery, activities, engagement and outcomes
- Utilize metrics to validate skill gaps, knowledge transfer and return on investment
- Provide organizational development guidance, advisory, and strategic consultative services to support leaders and teams
- Oversee administration of the External Training Request program
- Be a catalyst for Talent Management by collaborating on projects specifically for high-potential employee development and career pathing initiatives
- Support the Employee Survey initiatives through the creation, analysis, and action planning
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 8 years of learning and development experience including developing, implementing, and delivering learning and development solutions
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related field
- Certifications in psychometric testing, personality assessment tools, and/or coaching considered an asset
- Strong communication, presentation, consultation, organization, and project management skills
- Experience delivering programming in a global and remote environment; Minimal travel may be required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently, within a team and at all levels of the organization
