**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**:This is a full-time Support position (35 hours per week).**Note**:This is an ongoing 10-month position with unpaid layoff in July and August of each year and then resumes again with pay in the Fall (September).**Duties**: Reporting to the Manager of Simulation, Faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services, the incumbent will assist faculty and students with learning activities within a simulated patient care environment requiring the use of computerized mannequin technology. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating activities and resources in the lab.**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree or equivalent, plus a Health care professional with professional license such as RN, RPN, RRT, PAR, MLT
- Background in adult education is preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a patient care environment
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience operating human simulation equipment in a learning environment is preferred
- Proficiency with computer software operation including Windows, MS Word and Excel
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
