The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator supports the operational performance and continuous improvement of LHSC’s LMS. The role is responsible for systems scheduling, updating system curricula and auditing learning management system data.

The LMS Administrator maintains data integrity and is the primary person to interface with Information Technology Services to set technical priorities and test system changes.

**How you'll contribute**:
Your role will include:

- Setting up and maintaining learning profiles, certifications, curriculum, and modules.
- Providing ongoing support of registrations processes and instructors
- Importing eLearning content into the system
- Monitoring usage and performance of the LMS
- Performing ongoing maintenance activities to ensure accurate data
- Working with Human Resource Information Systems, IT, and vendor technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Building and running reports related to learning compliance and effectiveness
- Analyzing stakeholders’ business processes and workflows and translating them into system functionality
- Conducting review cycles of online learning

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of 3 Year College Diploma in Computer Technology/Science, Educational Technology, Adult Education or Human Resources
- Minimum two (2) years recent related experience
- Proficient facilitation, presentation and teaching skills
- Advanced knowledge of the relational fields between HRIS systems and the tables in an LMS
- Demonstrated experience with database & report analytics with expert understanding of table mapping
- Solid knowledge of corporate learning platform systems, system configuration, implementation, program design and development
- Advanced technical competence in the areas of graphic and multimedia authoring software for the purposes of course and curriculum design
- Advanced competency in graphic and multimedia e-learning rapid authoring tools in the creation of e-learning (i.e. Articulate, Storyline) to create interactive SCORM compliant web-based training products
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-orientated approach and ability to establish rapport quickly and collaborate effectively
- Familiarity with project management and quality assurance review cycles
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft SQL language and Business Intelligence
- Proficient development experience using HTML, CSS, XML, and Javascript
- Demonstrated ability to work well and independently with minimum supervision in a team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Immunization Requirements**:
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
