**What You'll Do**:
The Instructor - Employment & Learning Specialist, as part of the employment team will deliver life and employment skills related workshops. This individual will encourage and equip clients to achieve educational and/or employment success and promote a culture of leadership, autonomy and engagement. Acting as a true collaborator the Instructor - Employment & Learning Specialist will develop relationships with individual clients, the ATN team, and our larger community. They will ensure service delivery standards in accordance with all regulatory bodies, funder, and organizational defined outcomes and guidelines.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Deliver workshops both in-person and digitally
- Liaise with community groups and organize external training and workshops
- Teach on topics such as: resume writing, job searching, interview preparation, healthy eating and lifestyle, positive attitudes, communication, teamwork, financial basics, stress management, relationships, managing emotions, setting goals, etc.
- Update and create new program content
- Manage operational budget and spending for clients in the program
- Complete skills assessments and evaluations to determine the interests, aptitudes, and abilities of clients
- Regularly assess and re-evaluate clients’ progress and adjust training plans as required to meet individual needs
- Create weekly summaries and document client progress through up-to-date case management tracking
- Other duties as assigned

**JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Social Services or other related fields of study with record of academic achievement, or an equivalent combination of education, professional development and employment experience
- Experience with workshop facilitation
- Case management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the community and social programs
- Cross-functional team player and collaborator with excellent communication, and relationship building skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Highly flexible, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse client base

**POLICE RECORDS CHECK AND VULNERABLE POSITION SCREENING**

This position requires incumbents to submit a current Police Records Check and Vulnerable Position Screening from their local police service.
