**Acquafarina **is a Michelin Guide fine dining establishment in the heart of downtown nestled on West Georgia Street that specializes in modern Italian cuisine made from scratch Specialized cocktails, all-season outdoor dining, and private dining offer an exquisite culinary experience. We are currently seeking a **Morning** **Pastry Chef **to join our back of the house Team
**Responsibilities**
- Food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Guest service remains a priority, and issues are dealt with in a professional a timely manner.
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to ensure an appealing presentation
- Effectively communicate to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef for smooth operations.
- Ensure Health and safety guidelines and quality control are followed according to sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of previous experience in a similar environment
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Food Safety Certification
- Must be available evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in Italian and Spanish cuisine is an asset but not necessary.

**Salary**: $21-22/hour, plus tips
