The business development professional will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities for our software products. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with prospects, conducting presentations and demos, negotiating contracts, and closing sales. Your efforts will be an instrumental component for the company to achieve their growth milestones. You’re a highly motivated individual that requires little direction and has the instinct for the hustle required in a start up. You handle rejection with a constructive attitude and continue to move forward in a tenacious manner. You know how to make things happen

Position Summary:

- Refine, evolve & execute the business development strategy to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly & quarterly basis.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to convert them to sales.
- Conduct market research to qualify leads & foster sales opportunities.

Follow up on qualified leads generated through marketing efforts.
- Build relationships with new prospects and maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients.
- Develop & deliver presentations & demos, alongside founder.
- Manage all prospects, sales activity, and related data in HubSpot.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, and developments to provide informed recommendations to clients.Qualifications:

- 2+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferable in a technology-focused industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to healthcare or long-term care considered an asset.
- Hands on experience with multiple sales techniques. (i.e., SPIN selling)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office programs.
- Self-starter, motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as a team, with a passion for success.
- Experience with a CRM software (i.e., HubSpot) software preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field considered an asset.
