**More about this role**
This specific role will manage the creative service requests by our customer teams at Mondelēz Canada. This includes the end-to-end process oversight, management, development/adaptation, and execution of design projects for the Shopper Marketing and Customer Teams. In addition to supporting the Shopper Marketing team with the day-to-day task of budget management.
**Creative Services Management **- this includes improving and managing workflow processes and efficiencies for graphic design requests to meet project deadlines and align with internal Strategic Priorities. Maintaining communication and collaborating with key stakeholders (requestors) cross-functionally and building positive partner relationships. Digital asset and project file management and archiving are also included in daily department management. Managing technical problem solving with software and equipment.
**Project Management **- this includes overseeing the day-to-day graphic design of projects from initial briefing to final delivery to your internal and external clients. This includes planning, managing timelines and priorities, submitting assets for internal approvals, coordinating workflow to ensure optimal efficiency; quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and file uploads; managing changes in project scope, and evaluating capacity to determine needs for external outsourcing and facilitating the outsourcing process and management. Examples of projects include in-store merchandising tools, customer flyer/magazine ads, and digital activation assets for e-commerce/retail media.
**What you need to know about this position**:
- Use knowledge of current graphic software to design for print, web, and digital communication.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to develop customer-specific flyer/tribute ads.
- Design, produce and manage digital marketing assets for the shopper marketing and sales team.
- Work closely with the Shopper Marketing team to develop customer-specific in-store, activation and online retail media assets.
- Own the internal processes to gain alignment from all key stakeholders (including legal and regulatory approvals) to ensure that all designs align with the brand standards and meet the usability requirements.
- Successfully juggle multiple projects and deadlines and work independently within a team environment.
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Create and update web content and graphics.
- Format and proof files and graphics can be corrected as per the feedback or specifications provided.
- Maintain brand consistency.
- Share ideas and work as part of a team to visually bring marketing ideas to fruition.
- Manage the day-to-day budget activities that include, tracking, commitment creation, and alignment with key stakeholders to reflect changes or updates.
- Assist the Shopper Marketing team with other diverse activities to support program execution at retailers including but not limited to sample requests, quote requests, supplier registrations, POS management, etc.
**Education / Certifications**:
- Completed undergraduate degree from a BA or College Diploma/Certification in graphic design program (Marketing & E-commerce is a plus)
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience
**Job specific requirements**:
- Proficiency in a wide range of design software including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Lightroom etc.), Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- The ability to interpret design briefs and present work based on design rationale.
- The ability to communicate clearly with good organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work quickly with tight deadlines.
- Motion graphic is a plus.
- Social Media asset creation and platforms understanding is a plus.
- Previous marketing experience is a plus.
