You ensure that promotional campaigns and initiatives are activated across the customer base. You explain the activation vision, provide support materials and develop in-store point-of-sale (POS) activation requirements.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
- Engage brand & category teams on appropriate channel requirements and relevant timelines
- Understand and develop with marketing the most appropriate campaign plans by category and retailer
- Understand the key drivers of purchase be responsible for the development of account/channel specific POS materials
- Track, post-evaluate and report activity versus plan of all activity in customers and recommend improvements and key insights for future strategy development

**What you need to know about this position**
- Working with our Customer Business, Brand Marketing, Sales Strategy and Scale Activation teams to build our Shopper Marketing strategies with a customer-centric and consumer-first mindset
- Create value for our retail partners by offering OMNI activations to optimize the pre-shop planning stage all the way through to driving shopper conversion at the point of sale
- Execute with excellence our shopper marketing priorities & national scale programs from ideation, proposal, and creation all the way to the development of the program and the channel promotional materials. Working closely with key agency partners
- This role requires a great deal of cross
- collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- This role is fast paced and requires great agility with the ability to meet deadlines
- This role provides the opportunity work with grocery retailers who are leading in the space of OMNI and E-Comm Marketing
- You will have the opportunity work on multiple categories and a full portfolio of high profile and iconic brands
- You will manage projects, budget, timelines, ROI analysis and approvals with key stakeholders
**What extra ingredients you will bring**:
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods industry preferred and/or working with customer OMNI activation teams (instore and online)
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail environment and understanding of how to develop OMNI marketing experiences and elements that impact the shopper journey and result in conversion at the store and through e-commerce.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with key stakeholders simultaneously to meet key deliverables and ensure we are always executing with excellence
- Have a passion and a purpose to build strong trusting relationships with the customer that will advance our Advantage Survey results
- Develop and deliver effective briefs to agencies (and the internal design team) that result in effective creative communication Showcase strong communication skills to present our programs to key stakeholders and a collaborative leadership style working with key partners (sales, customers, brand, cross-functional team and external agencies).
**Education / Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a specialist in OMNI Marketing, Commerce or a related field
**Job specific requirements**:
- Requires strong ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at one time; ensuring very close communication with customers at every step
- Ability to provide creative direction leveraging brand assets and VIS to develop shopper marketing tools and advertising
- Ability to develop customer activations that drive basket building, brand relevance, and result in positive ROI
- Track, post-evaluate and recommend improvements and key insights for future strategy development
- Identify key priorities as part of BP process with Customer Team and develop full year plans; effectively using SMG dollars to drive strong business result.
- Leverage external and internal insights as well as past performance to optimize existing programs as well as evaluate the best customer programs to partner with and integrate with.
