Business Development Representative

**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Conduct research to identify potential clients in target industries and sectors.
- Identify and contact the appropriate IT decision-makers within these organizations.
2. Outbound Outreach
- Execute cold calls to introduce FioSec Consulting with a focus on highlighting the importance of cybersecurity.
- Understand the target company’s cybersecurity challenges and/or interest in our services to book a meeting for Account Managers.
3. Promote Cybersecurity Services & Solutions
- Communicate the value and benefits of our cybersecurity offerings to potential clients.
- Educate prospects on the importance of proactive cybersecurity measures.
- Utilize company-provided materials to promote our services in a compelling, professional manner.
4. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all interactions and sales activities within the company’s CRM system.
5. Collaboration with Sales Team
- Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and transition interested prospects to Account Managers.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss strategies, share insights, and support overall sales goals.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Experience: 2-3 years of business development, sales, or lead generation experience, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong grammar skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is essential.
- Sales Skills: Skilled in cold calling, with the ability to engage prospects, handle objections, and maintain a positive, resilient attitude.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport, actively listen, and engage prospects in meaningful conversations.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and the challenges organizations face in protecting their digital assets.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.
