Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
- Utilize accounting software (Sage, Xero) for data entry and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Support the finance team with bank reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate account balances.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounts payable functions.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or Xero is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
