Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
**A/P**
- Verify documentation (Bills of lading, proof of deliveries, receipts, scale tickets, unloading receipts, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Get approval of bills when required
- Enter & File bills & related docs.
- Pay bills.
- Respond to statements
**A/R**
- Invoice our customers.
- Process payments
- Make Deposits
- Statements & Collections
- Provide support docs for customers
**Onboarding Vendors (Carriers)**
- Verifications (Authorities & Insurance)
- Enter in our systems
**Onboarding Customers**
- Verifications
- Enter in our systems
- Request reference info
- Establish & Increase Credit
**Receptionist & Administrative Tasks**
- Taking Phone calls
- Buying Supplies
- Cleaning, Repair & Maintenance
- Creating Letters & Forms
**Optional & Potential**
- Reconciliations & Reports
- Payroll
- Government Taxes (GST & QST, DAS, Income Tax)
- IT
- HR
**Skills**:
- Education or Experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of Excel/Word & Outlook; & QuickBooks
**Conditions**:
- Permanent, Full-Time Work
- Salary: (according to experience & responsibilities)
- Schedule: 8:30 to 5:00 (Monday to Friday)
