We are currently looking for a skilled individual to join our team working out of our Guelph, Ontario location who can optimally manage our **Payroll Administration and Accounting Support **to cover a 20 month maternity leave.

Reporting to the Controller, duties of this position include:

- Maintain and process payroll for hourly and salary employees for all AWC locations
- Maintain and process all payroll statutory remittances (Receiver General, EHT, WSIB, RSP etc.)
- Maintain headcount, employee spreadsheet and all supporting schedules
- Track vacation pay, time off, other employee benefits
- Monitor and reconcile all G/L accounts related to employee compensation monthly
- Prepare and process all SR. Management expenses and AWC Credit Card
- Monitor and process all other employee expenses and benefits (Safety allowances, travel, etc.)
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and admin support as required
- Assist controller with month end and year end accounting functions as directed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

- Canadian payroll experience (certification is an asset)
- College Diploma or 2 years of previous experience in accounts payable
- ERP system experience an asset
- Highly organized with great attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- MS Office Software experience
- Strong communication skills
