**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this position will contribute to the company’s yearly goal attainment through recommendations, development, implementation, coordination and administration of policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, health & safety, employee and labour regulations for both employees and owner operators.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement Human Resource strategy to support business strategy
- Develop and maintain HR processes based on best practices, and determine necessary improvements to established processes in order to achieve goals
- Communicate HR initiatives and directions to management and employees
- Assist Senior Management in the formulation of staffing goals, turnover tracking, etc.
- Coordinate closely with payroll and VP, Human Resources on issues relating to risk management as it relates to HR
- Define scope of personnel records and maintain those records
- Ensure compliance is kept with all governmental bodies
- Manage and monitor the company’s WSIB accounts
- Monitor, report and ensure compliance with the Employment Equity branch of Services Canada
**Position Qualifications**:
- CHRP Designation preferred or working towards
- **Must be bilingual in English and French**:
- University or College degree in business or a related field a strong asset
- Previous experience in Human Resources role a strong asset
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good computer skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to lead and provide effective and timely feedback
- Ability to work in a high volume environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department or units regulations, policies, rules, functions, procedures or processes
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions

Relevant du vice-président, Ressources humaines, ce poste contribuera à l'atteinte des objectifs annuels de l'entreprise par la recommandation, l'élaboration, la mise en œuvre, la coordination et l'administration de politiques et de programmes dans les domaines du recrutement, des avantages sociaux, de la rémunération, de la formation, de la santé et de la sécurité, des employés et réglementation du travail pour les employés et les propriétaires-exploitants.
**Responsabilités du poste**:
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie de ressources humaines pour soutenir la stratégie de l'entreprise
- Développer et maintenir des processus RH basés sur les meilleures pratiques et déterminer les améliorations nécessaires aux processus établis afin d'atteindre les objectifs
- Communiquer les initiatives et les orientations RH à la direction et aux employés
- Assister la haute direction dans la formulation des objectifs de dotation, le suivi du roulement, etc.
- Coordonner étroitement avec la paie et le vice-président des ressources humaines sur les questions relatives à la gestion des risques en ce qui concerne les RH
- Définir la portée des dossiers du personnel et conserver ces dossiers
