**The Company**
Mainstreet Equity Corporation is a distinguished real estate company that is publicly traded on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 18,000 residential apartments in five major cities across Canada.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support all the internal and external HR related inquires or request
- Maintain electronic records of employees
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews and HR events
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Performance orientations and update of new staff
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews

**Qualifications and Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- At least 1 year experience as an HR assistant
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational, time management, and listening skills.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practice
- Must be able to work effectively in high stress situation
- Must have excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Must be able to adapt and manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
- Above average problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Must successfully complete a security clearance
- You are required to be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment
- You must have excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- You are self-directed with the ability to effectively manage your time and resources to ensure deadlines are met
- Remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding if employee relationships
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Display a professional and positive company image
- Your ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment
