Job Description and Role Expectations

The Sales Leader will be responsible for exceeding assigned sales targets, utilizing both prospecting and account management sales in a designated territory. In this ‘hunter’ role, you will develop sales opportunities with prospects and clients within the Canadian market. Your role is to identify opportunities to effectively close sales and grow business outside of current relationship of RS Software. You will identify the prospects to focus on during the first 30 days of appointment as a Sales Leader, and present to your manager for finalization. You should have a proven track record in the digital payments industry, demonstrating expertise in effectively positioning products and services to meet customer needs.

  1. Explore market trends to find opportunities in positioning RS Products Suite in the Canada market.
  2. Actively search for and acquire new clients, outside the current sales pipeline/relationships, to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets. Build network with industry influencers to help in business growth.
  3. Manage and nurture existing channel partners and strategic business partnerships, and create new ones, to accelerate revenue growth for RS Software and play the role of relationship manager.
  4. Diligent follow up with customers in your lead pipeline to identify opportunities to help them solve their payments and business challenges. Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of RS Software’s products and services and marketing activities, and knowledge of competitors’ offerings. Cultivate domain knowledge to understand customer pain points and business objectives/outcomes to map RS Products and identify the gaps between the requirements and product capability. Use a consultative and informative and “challenger sales” approach to define customer solutions at quick turnaround time and create differentiation.
  6. Bring deep knowledge of RS offerings and their fulfilment and be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients.
  7. Attention to RFP, commercials and proposal processes where required. Have overall accountability for the winning of competitive proposals.
  8. Prepare and discuss account and sales execution and win plan for every opportunity with the sales management team.
  9. Contribute to business strategy and budget planning.
  10. Collaborate with other teams in the company to the extent required to ensure a positive experience for customers and grow RS Software’s revenue.
  11. Drive engagement revenue and profitability.
  12. Ensure success of engagements.
  13. Maintain relationships with clients while building and sustaining growth.
  14. Regular reporting, coaching and pipeline reviews with your manager at frequency defined by the manager. Work closely with your manager to ensure there is no conflict of interest in accounts/ partnerships being pursued by the consultant.

  5. End to end understanding of India’s Digital Payment Stack
  6. End to end understanding of Centralized and Bank level Payment FRAML management
  7. End to end understanding of Centralized and Bank level Bill Payment solution
