Sage City is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Global Sales Craft Development Lead, based in Toronto.

Job DescriptionThe Global Sales Craft Development Lead will play a key role in driving sales success across the organization, creating and leading a global community of sales colleagues to ensure clarity, skills, and resources are aligned to deliver exceptional results. This involves fostering a sense of community, promoting open communication, and facilitating collaboration to align GTM strategies.
This role requires strong leadership and organizational development skills, with the ability to independently lead discrete pieces of work and be seen as an expert in this field. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience helping develop sales craft at a SaaS company for medium segment customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of Sage City's existing GTM Implementation across all segments and regions, including identifying any craft-specific initiatives currently in place.
- Design and implement effective job descriptions, levels aligned to competencies, reward structures, responsibilities, accountabilities, key performance indicators, and measures of success for the sales craft.
- Collaborate with RTR Performance and Planning to align sales compensation plans that promote high performance and drive sales excellence.
- Create and develop a craft community, bringing together a distributed global community of colleagues to learn and develop together, with several planned events and opportunities for collaboration.
- Own the craft capacity plan for the sales craft, working collaboratively with GTM and Commercial leaders.
- Define the skills and competencies required to be successful in the delivery of the sales craft, working with stakeholders to deliver a craft Academy to develop and coach skills and competencies across the community.
- Work closely with the Strategic Workforce planning team and wider HR team to understand and embed Sage City's People strategy.
- Collaborate across the RTR Sales Excellence and Enablement team to document, test, and iterate modular Functional Sales Blueprints, align on sales methodology, and clear roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and define business/functional requirements for the introduction of technology to automate craft execution.
