Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow Pathogenia Laboratory’s presence in the Natural Health Products, Environmental, and Pharmaceutical industries. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Founder and other internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Natural Health Products, Environmental, and Pharmaceutical industries.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking progress against targets and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director, Marketing, and Technical teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring they meet client requirements and company standards.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Pathogenia Laboratory’s products and services, and be able to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent Pathogenia Laboratory and expand the company’s network.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Natural Health Products, Environmental, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and industry-specific challenges.
