Senior Solutions Sales Executive – Public Sector

The Senior Solutions Sales Executive understands the entire Ricoh portfolio of services and can articulate how they integrate to modernize client operations. This sales professional will be focused on targeting new clients within the Ontario public sector and not for profit vertical leveraging established vendor of records. The direction, growth, and outcomes of the territory will be the ultimate responsibility of the Account Executive.

Responsibilities

  • New business prospecting and development, including scheduling and conducting introductions in both virtual and face-to-face client settings
  • Developing territory plan for acquisition of new clients with targeted solutions
  • Identify clients' business initiatives and articulate the Ricoh vision of how services can lead to desired business outcomes
  • Use consultative selling techniques with a focus on client value and return on investment
  • Research and understand client business departments, initiatives, policy, and personas
  • Collaborate with peers, including supporting consultants and specialists to develop transformative solutions that fit in the client's complex environment
  • Deliver strategic business development plans that incorporate input from stakeholders, including management, consultants, operations, legal, support, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with key executive stakeholders
  • Review complex Public Sector Request for Proposals (RFP) and lead the Ricoh bid response
  • Use Salesforce to manage account activity, pipeline progression and forecasting

Requirements

Education:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in business

Experience:

  • Experience in B2B environment, IT or a consultative selling environment; preferably in public sector
  • Established contacts and relationships in the Ontario Public Sector and Not for Profit vertical a plus

Other:

  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)
