As a Tim Horton's Front of House representative, you will be responsible for providing fast and efficient service to our customers, while maintaining a clean and organized front counter and drive-thru area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Suggest products, combos or sizes to customers to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Communicate with management team regarding service-related issues.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Communicate showcase needs to the baker and help merchandise the product.
  • Keep the front counter and drive-thru area organized, stocked and ready for rush.
  • Ensure customers receive consistently fast and efficient service.
  • Follow proper cash procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare soups, sandwiches, bagels and accompaniments as required.
  • Follow the order monitor to ensure correctness and completeness of each order.
  • Deliver orders to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ensure tables are kept clean and tidy.
  • Record baked items and waste on the production sheet.
  • Prepare coffee and record coffee times on the pots.
  • Ensure food preparation areas are always kept clean and sanitized.
  • Regularly take temperatures of required products and record in the Time & Temperature log.
  • Discard expired products and record throws on the production sheet.
  • Complete Tim Horton's audits and checklists as required.
  • Attend training programs and in-service training as designated.
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
  • Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
  • Ability to use a computer and provide clear directions and respond to employees.
  • Basic food-handling skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complies with all Sodexo time and attendance policies and/or client operating hours.
Physical Requirements
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 15.88 kilograms / 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 22.68 kilograms / 50 pounds.
