Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Team Management
    • Supervise 1 to 2 people, or 3-4 people, depending on the location
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or customer service role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Language
