Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our TD Asset Management team. As a key member of our Advisor Distribution division, you will be responsible for managing relationships and selling TD Asset Management strategies within an External Distribution territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Regional Vice President to co-manage an assigned territory of portfolio managers and investment advisors.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet activity targets and ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and increase share of wallet within the region.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and provide a seamless client experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, FCSI)
  • 3+ years of industry sales experience
  • In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industries
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Strong interest in capital markets
  • Excels in a sales environment
  • Fully fluent in French (for Quebec Region)
