We are currently seeking a dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant to join a boutique law firm located in downtown Vancouver. This role involves supporting one of the firm's Principals. The ideal candidate will possess prior administrative experience, a passion for the legal industry, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field.


Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and maintaining a high-quality filing system
  • The gathering and preparing of information for the lawyer and the client
  • Managing a high volume of bookings and meetings over the phone and via email
  • Daily reporting and record keeping
  • Finalizing legal documents for signing
  • Actively working toward deadlines
  • Preparing meeting rooms for appointments and seeing to any client requests
  • Answering inbound calls from clients and other professionals
  • Taking credit card payments over the phone and processing them
  • Sorting inbound mail and divvying out where necessary
  • Handling confidential information with the utmost integrity


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of LAA experience, ideally in estate planning and administration
  • Someone who is trustworthy, responsible, and empathetic
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and ability to multitask
