We have partnered with a Leader in Fire Protection and Safety and are looking to recruit a New Business Development Manager, GTA.

This leader in fire protection and safety provides expert design, installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and suppression systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional property management groups.

Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and deliver new business.

Key Responsibilities: Fire Safety and Protection, New Business Development Manager

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Oversee the creation of new business opportunities through targeted outreach.
  • Implement prospecting best practices to engage high-value clients.
  • Encourage multi-channel outreach, including phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking.

Drive New Growth Through the Business Development Team:

  • Set and champion growth targets with clear performance expectations.
  • Provide structure and accountability to ensure the team meets sales quotas.
  • Utilize CRM and sales data to track progress and make data-driven adjustments.

Build & Develop a High-Performing Business Development Team

  • Recruit, train, and guide a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to success.
  • Conduct weekly coaching sessions focused on call strategy, objection handling, and relationship-building.
  • Lead by example by actively participating in client meetings and sales presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in the fire protection industry is an asset.
  • 5+ years' experience in business development and sales leadership.
  • 2+ years managing Business Development teams with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience selling to facilities and/or property managers strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in new business development and outbound prospecting.
