Job Description:

The Senior Vice President of Product will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy for our company. This position will report directly to the CEO and will be a key member of the executive team, influencing the company's overall direction and success. The SVP of Product will lead and mentor a talented product team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Define product requirements and roadmaps including things as feasibility, effort, financial impact (revenue / cost savings) and strategic value.
  • Ensure the Marketing team, Sales Team, Engineering team, Design team is aligned with Product strategy on market positioning, product ideation/realization, hiring/training programs, and product management work products.
  • Drive product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging, in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Monitor product performance and key metrics, utilizing data and user feedback to inform product enhancements and improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and stakeholders to align product strategy with company goals and objectives.
  • Represent the product organization and act as a product evangelist at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or similar); Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in building and launching innovative products in the programmatic advertising or ad-tech space.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad exchanges, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and ad servers.
  • Must be able to lead product transformation visioning and roadmap, while at the same time being comfortable in rolling up sleeves and lead the day-to-day activities.
  • Successful managing and delivering a wide variety product solution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in product development methodologies, including agile and lean principles.
  • Ability to think strategically and ‘big picture’, to formulate appropriate product solutions to solve client business needs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate market needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret product metrics.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment is preferred.
