SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (FULL TIME)
The Wellington Health Care Alliance (WHCA) is currently accepting applications for a Full Time System Administrator to join our team.

We require an individual who:
- Has the ability to understand a vast array of complex technical issues, solutions and or alternatives
- Has the ability to understand both the clinical and financial processes of the hospital to ensure quality and integrity of the solutions provided
- Has the ability to analyze a problem and develop, implement and support the solution
- Will maintain expert knowledge in a rapidly and continuously changing industry
- Has in-depth knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures as they relate to the industry (Security, privacy, confidentiality)
You would stand out if you have:
An IT background, with a degree or diploma in Information Technology or equivalent education/work experience and at least years' experience in the information systems field, including experience with applications, networking, operations and telecommunications.
Essential skills for the position are:
- Industry standard technical certifications
- Excellent computer hardware troubleshooting and support skills
- Proficient with VMware and other virtualization technologies
- Proficiency with Office and all Microsoft Applications/Systems
- Understanding of Cisco VOIP Technologies
- Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol
- Proficiency with Cisco LAN/WAN/WLANs
- Proficiency with MS Exchange
- Proficiency with commercial backup and deduplication products
- Knowledge of security products including firewalls, IDS/IPS, virus/malware protection, internet filtering, encryption
- Knowledge of SQL Server administration
- Knowledge of Fault Tolerant Architecture Design and Disaster Recover/Business Continuity Plans
- Meditech experience
- Technical writing/documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Business analysis and problem-solving skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
Hours of Work: hours per week
Location: Your home office will be located at Groves Memorial Community Hospital and travel will be required to our sites in Mount Forest and Palmerston, so a valid drivers' license and reliable vehicle is required.
