The Role: The Account Executive role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are driven, enjoy interacting with people, and have a knack for building long-lasting relationships. The role is focused on building and maintaining your own book of business. You will be determining the companies' shipping needs, while creating meaningful connections and providing top-rated customer service. This is an in-office position: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM-5PM
You Will:
• Develop and manage your own book of business through business-to-business cold calling and networking.
• Follow up with new and existing clients to provide freight solutions and successfully close the opportunities.
• Prospecting for new business and clients.
• Negotiate rates with carriers.
• Coordinate with Account Managers and Logistics Coordinators to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
You Have:
• A post-secondary education in relevant field or relatable industry experience
• Is familiar with various software's including CRMs
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
• Advanced organization and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• The willingness to learn the ins and outs of a niche industry.
• The ability to connect with people.
• A determined mindset with a go-getter attitude.
