We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Representative.

You will help us to expand our market presence in different countries in payment processing and banking services. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience and vitality to drive our sales efforts forward.

Vellis is a dynamic neobank offering digital banking solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Europe and Canada. Their services include multi-currency accounts, international payments, and payment processing solutions, all aimed at improving business profitability and efficiency from day one.

Location: Canada, UK or Europe

Contract: Contractor role (self-employed)

What we need:

  • Conduct extensive cold outreach to potential clients, primarily in high-risk industries. Utilize your energy and drive to generate leads and convert them into sales.
  • Offer payment processing solutions and banking services tailored to meet the specific needs of clients in high-risk sectors.
  • Collaborate internally to refine sales strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This involves identifying target markets, setting sales goals, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Work closely with other departments to develop and refine sales materials, presentations, and other collateral needed to close deals. Your experience will guide the creation of compelling sales pitches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs to upsell or cross-sell additional services. Your experience should enable you to navigate client concerns and objections effectively.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with banking regulations, particularly those pertinent to high-risk industries. Your knowledge will be key in advising clients on compliance while promoting our services.
  • This role requires frequent travel to meet clients and prospect.

Who you are:

  • Proven track record in sales, at least 3 years of experience, particularly in payment processing or banking services, with a focus on high-risk industries.
  • Must have hands-on experience in lead generation, and deal closing.
  • High level of motivation with the stamina to engage in extensive outreach activities.
  • Must be proactive and resilient in the face of rejection.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to articulate the benefits of our services clearly.
  • Ability to work strategically on sales approaches, understand market trends, and adapt sales tactics accordingly.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop sales materials and strategies.
