Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE(IVD) 
Location: GREATER VANCOUVER, BC 
Compensation: Base Salary of $50K-$60K, OTE $80K 

 We are excited to assist our client in their hunt for a dynamic and persuasive Business Development Representative. Our client is a globally recognized, clinical-stage biotechnology company, and a trailblazer focused on In-vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products, one of the three key business segments of the organization. 

About the Opportunity 

This is your chance to join an innovative and dedicated team who are revolutionizing the diagnostic industry landscape. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through new client acquisition and nurturing current customer relationships. 

Your day-to-day duties will include: 

  • Participating in the development of the team’s Sales and Marketing strategy and individual channel sales plans while identifying and pursuing valuable business opportunities. 
  • Establishing and nurturing effective relationships with clients.
  • Driving sales success through customer base expansion and retention. 
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
  • Delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education. 
  • Attending conferences and trade shows.
  • Planning and executing site visits to key accounts.
This role is ideal for a candidate who: 
  • Holds a minimum of a BSc, with an interest in biotechnology. 
  • Has at least two years of sales and customer service experience with demonstrable metrics and success. 
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce and Pardot is an asset. 
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively to build individual success and operate collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Is capable of negotiating sales deals that align with the company’s sales policies.

The candidate must have legal authority to work in Canada.
