Your Opportunity:

This position reports to the Area Manager and provides general administrative support services within Athabasca Addiction and Mental Health Services. The primary focus of the role is to provide support to the Area Manger and be the first point of contact for clients requesting services and professionals requesting information or consultation, in addition to maintaining the schedules for clinical staff within the office and data entry into various AHS approved information systems. Additionally, the position is responsible for reception duties, maintains wait lists for appointments, file creation and maintenance, including filing and archiving; maintenance of print and other resources, photocopying, verifies and follows up on inventory and equipment requests ( supply order) and office organization. Completes timekeeping/payroll data entry and follows up on discrepancies. Generates reports, prepares information, creates documents and correspondence.This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. By applying on this posting, if you are the successful candidate, you will transition to Recovery Alberta. In accordance with the transition letter of understanding with UNA, current employees under the UNA Collective Agreement who accept an employment offer, issued after July 1, 2024, will not have any rights under Article 15: Layoff and Recall.

Description:

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in Addiction & Mental Health care or settings with transferable experiences is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Connect Care.
