V-Soft Consulting is looking for a Business Development Manager in Toronto, Ontario 

The Business Development Manager for IT Staffing has the responsibility for establishing strategic priorities for the revenue growth of their assigned territory. The primary focus will be establishing new customer relationships, along with the maintaining and growing of business within existing clientele. This includes establishing near and short-term plans in conjunction with the management team to achieve the company's goals while creating a strong value-based brand with the customer base.

The Business Development Manager will be held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the acquisition of new business and expansion of existing accounts. Strong Technical Staffing experience in IT is preferred but will consider experience in Engineering.

Education and Experience »
  • Recruiting experience highly preferred technical background highly preferred associate degree or bachelor’s degree in comparable field preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3 years’ experience servicing, supporting, developing, and generating new business and major accounts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
  • Extensive sales experience in a services environment preferred.
  • Strong Technical Staffing experience preferably in IT is preferred but will consider experience in Engineering.
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking and niche IT organizations.
  • Meet all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity and revenue growth.
  • Meet with Manager, and inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities.
  • Provide information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals within assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities »
  • Business Development Manager will be held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the acquisition of new business and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure delivery to customer requisitions.
  • Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
  • Partner with recruiting to schedule a qualify call in order to gain accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
  • Research potential new business and current customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring completion of all required sales reports and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into V-Soft’s CRM and other automated systems.
  • Focus business development and diversification in keeping with regional and national strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the creation and maintenance of business plans utilizing CRM, with targeted new accounts and completely mapped territories and calendars.
