Travelweek is hiring a Business Development Manager - GTA

Travelweek is Canada's #1 travel trade media company, come join our innovative team

The Business Development Manager will represent Travelweek throughout the industry and manage client relationships. Sales activities will include client calls/meetings, attending events, sales presentations, campaign proposals, relationship building and possible overseas conferences.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of existing clients
- Actively generate leads to develop new business
- Help clients design comprehensive marketing campaigns
- Provide excellent customer service and relationship management
- Build/maintain relationships with supplier, agencies, industry partners

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 year of sales experience
- Travel industry knowledge and relationships
- Must be highly personable and presentable
- Ability to work independently, set and achieve goals and prioritize day-to-day activities
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Experience working with CRMs highly desirable
- Remote work, but must be able to attend events and meetings in GTA
