Ce poste de superviseur de première ligne a pour mission de promouvoir la culture de sécurité avant tout de FedEx Express (FXE) et de gérer les opérations de tri quotidiennes ainsi que l'équipe de manutentionnaires de fret au sein d'une succursale. Le superviseur a la responsabilité de diriger et de guider les employés dans la manipulation appropriée des colis, le routage et la résolution des éventuelles défaillances de service liées à la fonction de tri. Il supervise l'ensemble des activités des manutentionnaires, notamment en orientant leur travail, en leur prodiguant mentorat, coaching et formation, et en veillant au respect des politiques et procédures de FXE ainsi que des réglementations gouvernementales dans les processus administratifs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

College degree

2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR,

2 years supervisory experience in related industry

Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record

EXCEL Leadership Development Stream (Preferred)

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including completing and maintaining DG certification

Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees

Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team

Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner

2 ans d’expérience en supervision dans un domaine apparenté.

Doit avoir un permis de conduire valide. Doit avoir un bon dossier de conduite.

Voie de développement du leadership EXCEL (préféré)

Capacité de soulever 70 lb. Capacité de manœuvrer tout colis pesant jusqu’à 150 lb avec l’équipement approprié.

Capacité à réussir toutes les formations de base et de recyclage (y compris l’obtention et le maintien de la certification DG).

Capacité à encadrer, coacher et être une source de connaissances pour les autres employés.

Capacité d’inspirer une vision commune et d’autonomiser et de motiver une équipe.

Capacité d’établir des priorités et de déléguer rapidement.
