A Unique Opportunity

As our Edmonton Business Development Manager, you are responsible for managing the accounts in a well-established, vibrant practice. And for bringing in new business through referral and lead generation. You are passionate about sales and developing new relationships.


How you make it happen:

Developing new relationships with business owners of mid-sized companies (50-500 employees), leading them through a discovery process.

  • Retaining our existing client base through ongoing interaction and check-ins.
  • Capitalize on expansion sales opportunities with existing clients.
  • Liaise with the service delivery team as they work to transform the clients they are supporting.
  • Participating in relevant marketing activities including involvement in business and trade associations, planning and executing marketing events, and being active in social media.
  • Developing and nurturing referral opportunities with clients and strategic partners.
  • Working with the CEO and Practice Directors for the success of all markets.


This role requires a special individual who is comfortable interacting with business owners, CEOs, and senior managers. The successful candidate will be someone with:

  • A love of sales and a proven track record selling solutions to business owners.
  • An extreme passion for learning.
  • A genuine interest in uncovering pain points, finding solutions, and making a real difference for our clients.
  • A skilled approach to handling objections in the sales process.
  • 5+ years of business experience ideally in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • A strong background in making formal and informal presentations.
  • Post-secondary business education.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for working with people.
  • Technical savviness working with a variety of tools and mediums (Hubspot, MS Office, Social Media).
