Finance Administrator

The Opportunity
We are searching for an experienced Finance Administrator to complement our existing team, to collaboratively support all aspects of the Finance functions.
What you will do
- Month end revenue activities (A/R)
- Accounts payable activities (A/P)
- Bank Deposits including postings and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Managing and processing of semi-monthly payroll.
- Timesheet management
- Respond to client/contractor requests on a daily basis
What you bring to the role
- Five plus (5+) years of experience in Finance
- Proven ability to successfully manage timelines and multiple priorities
- Ensure all services are billed on a timely basis
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel, and Word and ability to learn to work with new applications
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Highly motivated, achievement-oriented, committed, self-starter and ability to prioritize work/cope with changing priorities while working independently and with a team
- Superior communication
- Solution-oriented
- Possess the ability to resolve conflicts and work under pressure
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Work collaboratively to ensure work is completed and efficiencies are implemented
- A true team player and enjoy a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret Level, or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset
The successful candidate must be available for work during core business hours – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST/EDT
