**FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT**:
The Corporate Services Branch is looking for a Finance and Administrative Assistant for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-03 ($50,375 to $63,754 per annum).

**DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION**
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Finance and Administrative Assistant providing financial and administrative support services to the Directors, Vice-Presidents, and branches (Corporate Services, Human Resources; and Audit, Research, Evaluation and Research). The main administrative functions include agreement management and monitoring, completing financial administrative documents and preparing travel authorities, arrangements, and reimbursements. The individual also assists with parliamentary questions and Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests, memorandum of understanding (MOU), performance report process as well as general business process workflows. The main financial functions include using Microsoft Dynamics AX to assist in the maintenance of branch finances by preparing low dollar purchase requisitions and monitoring the system activities and workflows for multiple cost centres. The individual is also responsible for identifying and generating appropriate system reports, performing various financial analyses, preparing documentation for the period reviews, ensuring low dollar value procurement to pay processes for the branch and liaising with various groups to ensure the resolution of financial and procurement issues.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**:University degree in Business Administration with specialization in accounting OR an acceptable combination of education post-secondary, training and/or experience.

**EXPERIENCE**: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
- Providing general financial and administrative services and operational tasks;
- Coordinating and performing financial reporting activities and routine analysis (accounts payable, procure-to-pay cycle);
- Preparing correspondence and vetting documents for accuracy and quality in both official languages;
- Working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for financial operations.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of the financial and administrative directives, policies and procedures.
